Office Alcove (8 x 6') provides secluded area for paying bills and doing paperwork.


Steel reinforced stairwell to basement........because we had very active little boys!


We went to great lengths to assure the woodwork in the addition would match the original house.


Coat closet ( 7.5 x 3) for easy access to coats when running out the door in a hurry.

Notice even the circuit box to the right of the door is framed and stained to match the rest of the woodwork!


Finished basement 22 x 18' is a great rec room as well as an excellent tornado shelter. Frigadaire freezer comes with the house!

Second floor - Bedroom #2

Original gorgeous woodwork is overhead as we head upstairs.....


To begin the tour of the second floor is bedroom #2 (16 x 14.5') - a happy room to wake up in. Notice the pretty crown molding.


Our daughter often fancied herself a Victorian era pioneer girl and thoroughly enjoyed her room.


This wonderful house was built in 1907 by Canyon city founder, Cattleman, Rancher, and Entrepreneur J.A. Edwards.


It could be made into a fabulous Bed & Breakfast!

Bathroom #2

Bathroom # 2 (14 x 9') has a pull-chain toilet and a claw foot tub/shower!


Antique dresser for the sink and there is also a large linen closet.

Upstairs hallway between bedrooms #2, 4, 5 and bathroom #2. Notice the original gas lamp on the left (one of three), and the pull-down attic ladder. The attic runs the full length of the house- Talk about storage room! More rooms could be created up there if you needed them.

Bedroom #3 (11 x 10.5) has a door onto a sweet balcony for an early morning check of the weather and a cup of coffee!..... and crown molding too.


....and one of the three original gas lanterns.


This patriotic room (11 x 10.5) was once the room of a WWI veteran. Our son was proud to call it his.


Bedroom #5 (14.5 x 9) was a swell room for our son and many other boys for the past 100 years!


Bathroom #3 (10.5 x 6) has a shower and a large linen closet.

A Laundry Room from Heaven!!

The laundry room is so spacious at 27.5 x 8.5' that working in it is a joy! And the view is amazing! Washer and dryer come with house. 3 water heaters assure you never run out of hot water. House has own septic system.


You won't find storage like this even in a new house! Entering the laundry room on one side are two clothes closets each 7.5 x 3'!!


And on the other side of the laundry room are three MORE closets, plus notice another pull-down attic ladder to the addition attic which is also big enough for another room.

And yet another closet on the right (7.5 x 3'). The original 1907 owners of this house would shake their heads in amazement at the number of closets we need for all our stuff nowdays!
