At the bottom in the meadow is a 25 x 60 metal building - completely empty and ready to store TONS of things. Could any house/property have more storage?! Note the lovely scenery and sky!

Canyon is a thriving small city with a population of 12,000. It is the home of the Fighting Buffs of West Texas A & M University. Being the Randall County seat it is big enough to have a Super Walmart and United, 2 hardware stores, more than 10 restaurants (not counting fast food chains) and 15 churches. Yet it is small enough that folks are friendly and greet each other with a smile. The Canyon school system is one of the highest rated in Texas. Canyon is just 20 miles west of the awe-inspiring Palo Duro Canyon State Park, home of the outdoor drama, TEXAS! And just 20 miles south of Amarillo.

Amarillo (pop 168,000) is well known throughout the area for its state of the art medical care. The Regional Medical Centers service the TX Panhandle as well as parts of CO, KS, OK, and NM. Amarillo is home to Amarillo College, the top rated 2 year college in TX and has many thriving businesses including Pantex, Bell Helicopter, Tysons, and Corning. It is a center for conferences/events and is well-respected for its many cultural opportunities - symphony, ballet, opera, live theater and more.

Why are you selling?
Sorry to be so long in answering! I haven't checked this site in months. We are selling because we need to move to St. Louis to care for my aging parents.
Have you sold this yet?
Did you sell the house. This was my great grandfathers house. My family would love to see if again before you sell it.
Gorgeous house!
